My Backstory...

Hello Baddies.. Thank you for making it to this section and wanting to learn about my journey!!

I believe one of the most powerful things we can do is be open to learn from others who have accomplished so many goals and lived out their dreams. I remember being 15 years old and looking at the Miami Heat dancers and their testimonies as huge inspiration. It’s truly an absolute honor to say that 18 years later I’ve accomplished more than I ever imagined.

I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. At the age of 10 my parents made the decision to move to the United States in hopes of a better future. I have been living in Miami FL ever since we landed from Venezuela, I consider Miami my home. I struggled learning English and that is how my story with dance began. When I would dance I felt seeing, accepted and simply connected on every level. I have always been described as a very energetic person, my mother had me in so many activities ever since I was a toddler to keep me under control she says. My grandma tells me when I was a month old, they would play music when I was asleep because I would automatically start moving, it was as if music was in my blood. Coming to a whole new country, new culture, new language was no easy task for my family and I. My parents worked several jobs and did the best they could so we could have a decent life. I learned to dance by watching videos online and becoming a part of my middle and high school dance teams. I began working at the age of 14 to be able to pay for my dance competitions and uniforms. All that experience made me a hardworking woman, a person who was not going to stop to better herself and I strive to be that person as long as god allows me to.

The Journey Continued...

My first big opportunity happened in 2009 after I graduated from high school and decided to audition for the Panthers Ice Dancers. I made the team with no professional training, or any experience at all other than what I had gotten from school. 2 months later I got cut from the team due to legal reasons, I had no work permit to be able to work in the USA. My heart was broken but I didn’t give up, I kept my faith and with lots of determination obtained my residency a year later.

In 2010 I became a part of the Marlins Mermaids dance team, which became my first professional job in the dance industry. I was a part of the marlins family for 3 years and was one of the first dancers to experience being in the ‘Energy Team’ for the very first time. In 2012 I participated for the first time in my first dance TV competition for ‘Sabado Gigante’ called ‘Pongale Ritmo’. I received a grand prize of $3000 and a Contract to Univision as a dancer. 2013 I made the ‘Miami Heat dancers’, a real dream come true. This was the moment I realized I was attracting everything I had been dreaming about. As I mentioned earlier, the Miami Heat Dancers was my goal but it didn’t last long.

One month before the season started, After long hours/days of training, traveling for photoshoots and so much dedication poured into the Heat dancers I received the biggest opportunity of my dance career. The opportunity to tour with Mr, Worldwide AKA PITBULL, to be a part of his official dancers as ‘The Most Bad Ones’. During my participation as a dancer in Univision, Pitbull’s choreographer ‘Anibal Marrero’ saw me and offered me my biggest dance job.

My Life as Pitbull's Dancer...

The Most Bad Ones will forever have a unique place in my heart. Pitbull and his team taught me so much about teamwork, loyalty, privacy, punctuality, wardrobe, make up, and so much more. TMBO became like sisters to me and till this day I speak and keep in contact with some of them, we even work on some projects together. During those 5 years as a Pitbull dancer I’ve been privileged to participate in several music videos such as FUN, SEXY BEACHES, PIENSAS, TIMBER, and many more. I’ve also been a part of Several Vegas Residencies and world tours such as Time of our lives, Can’t stop the party, The bad man tour and more. I’ve been honored to share the stage with many big artists such as JLO, NEYO, CHRIS BROWN, MARC ANTHONY, ENRIQUE IGLESIAS, KESHA, YANDEL, and more.

Performed for 2 million people at Brazil Carnival 2018 alongside Pitbull and Claudia Leitte and have also performed in many award shows and tv shows such as; AMAS, Billboards, MTV awards, Premios lo Nuestro, Grammys, Dancing with the stars, Ellen, Good Morning America and many more.

Dancing Through Transitions

I then transitioned my way into the reggaeton world and began exploring other styles. I was always dancing in heels while I was a dancer for Pitbull but had a huge passion for urban dance as well. In 2018 I joined team OZUNA and was part of AURA TOUR and NIBIRU TOUR 2019. During my Europe tour with Ozuna I found out I was pregnant, I can say I had the most magical experience to do what I love and travel during my first 4 months of pregnancy. I then became a mother, I have a beautiful, healthy son and my biggest blessing. 2021 I got back to performing again and after being told so many times my life will change after becoming a mom, I felt like I was doing what felt good with my spirit. I became an official dancer for GUAYNAA and ZION Y LENNOX.

It’s beautiful to be able to say that after becoming a mother I finally performed at one of my dream places ‘El coliseo de PUERTO RICO’ for ‘LA TRAYECTORIA 2021′ alongside Zion y Lennox and his teamOne of my biggest accomplishments and one of the ones I’m mostly proud of is being a part of ‘LA ÚLTIMA VUELTA WORLD TOUR 2022’ with Daddy Yankee. This I can say was my ultimate goal that I never saw coming. Anyone that knows me knows how much I love Daddy Yankee’s music, and when I got the invitation to attend the private auditions I knew it couldn’t be a coincidence.

Recently I’ve realized I have a huge passion for teaching and helping others feel confident with their movements. I’ve been dedicating a lot of time into choreographing, teaching private lessons and diving deep into our mental state as well. I am so grateful to feel so present, so alive and connected with my calling. When I say my faith is BIG I mean it, today I just want to see you believing in yourself, knowing that as long as you’re working hard and focusing on taking one step at a time without comparison, you’re going on the right path. Thank you for making it this far and getting to know me a bit more, I only hope this can inspire and motivate you to work hard for your goals!
